Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Please pick three choices from each hour for registering your child.
A first choice and two back-up options.
We try our best to arrange the first choice but classes fill-up and we will place you in your 2nd choice, the third choice is rarely used unless first choice is full and the second choice has been canceled due to lack of interest.
Most classes are limited to 12 students unless otherwise noted.
1ST HOUR CLASS CHOICES 12:10-1:10 p.m.
Ballet/Tap - $5
Teacher – Lauren Postal
For beginner to intermediate dancers. Students will enjoy learning Ballet, Tap, Motor Skills, and Creative Dance while blending educational concepts such as dance history. Exploring topics such as; famous dancers, performances, and choreographers in history. Students will need ballet and tap shoes the first week.
Watercolors - $5
Teacher - Theresa Jaworski
Come learn the technique of painting with watercolors. Each week will have a theme for the month also including learning the color wheel
Games Class - $0
Teacher - Amanda Clouse
Do you love candy land, chutes and ladders, memory, BINGO? We do too. Come learn how to play some board games and also learning games will be incorporated. Children’s opinions will be taken on game suggestions for each week. Children must understand that the teacher will be picking the game and be cooperative in playing the planned game for the week.
Character Training - $10
Teacher - Diana Higuchi
Generosity, Attentiveness, Compassion, Conservation, Courage, Determination - These are character traits we wish to see in all of our children. This class will teach what the meaning of those traits are and what those traits look like in our lives.

Lego Class - $5
Teacher – Amanda McClenaghan
This class will have LEGO challenges (can you build it), science related activities, and a marble maze build. This class will also have a lot of free time to build their own creations. Children are not allowed to take their projects home, but they are given the plans to re-create the project at home.
Intro to Spanish - $5
Teacher - Judith Fetzer
This will be a fun introduction to Spanish words, sentence structure and phrases. We will use the Song School Curriculum which teaches language through singing and stories. Cost of student book and practice CD is $20. Book is optional but very strongly encouraged for reinforcement when at home. Link is below.
2ND HOUR CLASS CHOICES 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Gym - $0

Come run, jump, and burn energy playing games with friends.
Tea Time - $5
Teacher - Diana Higuchi
Join us for a Tea Party! We will be learning proper etiquette and enjoying snacks and beverages and reading stories.
No Stove Cooking - $15
Teacher- Kati Brush
Hands on no stove cooking class that will teach students how to prepare different menu items from all three meals-breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as desserts and beverages. No Children with Food Allergies are permitted in this class.
Army Base (K-5th grade) - $5
Teacher- Theresa Jaworski
Ready! Aim! Fire!!! Have fun battling with your army. This class is a creation of one of our own Hometeam Moms. This game involves strategy by taking the plastic army men, Styrofoam, Popsicle sticks, and Lincoln logs and build your base. Children are then matched with an opponent and you shoot rubber bands at your opponent to knock down their men. Winner is the one with the most men standing at the end of the match. Scores are kept and an Army Base Champion is declared at the Championships the last day of the semester. Boys and Girls alike LOVE this class. Participation is required. Latex allergy students would be highly discouraged from participation.
Survival Skills - $10 (2nd grade only)
Teacher – Judith Fetzer
Survival Skills - If you were trapped on a deserted island with your friends, how long would you survive? Learn some basic skills that would improve your chances of survival in this fun class. We will discover basic first aid skills, rope making and tying, plant and bug identification, and play some fun role playing games as a course capstone. Cost: $10 includes first aid kit, and rope kit.
STUDY HALL - $0
Teacher – Teacher’s Room
This class is offered for those students who maybe see a first hour class option and a third hour option but not one that they love for 2nd hour. You must bring something to occupy your time for this hour such as: reading, school work, coloring. This class will have adult supervision and the students must stay in the room the entire hour. All regular drop-off fees still apply.
3RD HOUR CLASS CHOICES 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Sealife Science – $5
Teacher – Becky Walters
Do you wonder what animals live under the sea? If you love to explore and learn with hands on techniques you will be THRILLED with this class. Come learn about all things under the SEA. At the end of the semester, a group field trip could be coordinated to the SEALIFE AQUARIUM depending on interest level.
Stories, Snacks & Crafts - $5
Teacher – Becky Harless
Stories, Snacks, and Crafts is a class for the little ones. We will listen to a story and then do a craft that’s related to the story. We will have a yummy snack that goes with the theme; and if time permits color a coloring page. Some possible stories we will read are: We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Corduroy, and The Cat in the Hat.
Crafts, Crafts & More Crafts - $15
Teacher - Deb Saul
Come make crafts of all types. Child must be able/willing to cut, glue and participate in messy art projects. We will explore all kind of genres, using crayons, paints, markers, having all kinds of fun while making things to take home and share with the family.
Crossfit for Kids - $80
Teacher - Dignified Crossfit Trainer - Kolin Theede
Have you ever watched the crossfit games and wonder how those people train for their sport. We will be welcoming them into Hometeam.
The Dignified CrossFit kids program is designed for kids. This is an awesome opportunity for kids to discover that fitness and a healthy lifestyle is FUN! With high quality coaches to ensure SAFETY, children will be introduced to the CrossFit methodology of constantly varied, functional movements, (intensity applied when older and appropriate)... With fun!
Meet the American Girl - $12
Teacher - Aimee Hansen
This semester we will be reading, crafting and studying two girls. Walk through the time period, make crafts and lapbooks, and eat snacks. What a great way to learn history. Particular girls that we will be studying is still to be determined.
